Application - Lokked
1. In game name:
Lokked Out
2. Real life age:
30
3 Approximate character skills:
err... none?
4 Darkfall playstyle: (You can be creative ...)
Ranged combat. I enjoy sniping people in FPS.
5 How long have you been playing DF?
Just since the Beta for DFUW launched.
6 What other clans have you been in? (What did you like/dislike?)
I'm with the KGC crew. I like the maturity of the group and the ideals we share.
7 Personal Info: (Gaming history, play schedule, job, or whatever else you want to share)
I'm a business analyst for a city and work from 8-5 MST. I am married with 2 (nearly 3) kids. I play video games from about 9-midnight MST on the weekdays and sporadically on Weekends.
I played EQ (Bard) for 3 years. Best gaming experience ever.
I 5-boxed World of Warcraft to moderate success in arenas. I 6-boxed Vanguard and EQ2. Multiboxing is awesome.
I brew beer, play competitive 8-ball and tennis, write software automation applications, and reverse engineer business applications in my free time.
8 What you are looking for in clan?
Buddies to share victories and losses with. Strong leadership. Purpose.
9 What can Absolution do for you?
Answer my DF Noob questions. Perhaps set goals. Share some laughs on vent/ts. Bunch of KGCs are in Abso, so it'll be good

I got this guy here. I can vouch for him.
Also, we're going to have the best AHK scripts in the universe now.

Lol, I'm storing my library in a private repository on github purposefully so that people I give access too can collaborate on it. Two brains are better then one

Yes, I can help with AHK once I understand the context it will be useful in. I've used it extensively for Multiboxing purposes. Looking forward to this!
My game name is Lokked Out (wish we didn't have to pick last names :p).

Lol, thats about perfect because I've used it a lot for automating in Darkfall 1 and other more business related stuff, but I've never done any cross machine control which will be very handy for those with 2 computers/accounts.

Re: Application - Lokked
Because AHK does not natively involve socket programming**, you must either use AHK in conjunction with Octopus or use another key broadcasting/macroing software, such as HotKeyNet or Octopus (it has its own macroing capabilities). Premium options include:
Innerspace w/ISBoxer ($10/3 months or $36/year subscription)
KeyClone ($10 one time fee)
Innerspace makes everything VERY customizable and has a GUI instead of typing out scripts. Innerspace also makes it very possible to run multiple applications on the same PC. At some point, this is what I switched to, due to certain applications requiring to be "Active" to accept keystrokes. Innerspace can force applications to the foreground, thus negating this detriment.
**Recently, Net Send was implemented, but it only works for certain applications. Might work for DF, would have to test.
