Secondly, I recommend sending the word doc and account to Eaos. I have faith he could both utilize the free account and disseminate the information accurately and appropriately.
Eaos, if you could get with Sendog to relay your email info and get back to us with your findings it'd be greatly appreciated.
Best of luck, and who knows - maybe we'll eventually see each other on the battlefield again.
This is why Wild is in charge of talking to people. The rest of us just post gif's and shit.

It's cool of Mr. Dog to come here and post that. Really shows the dedication of the community. Makes me have those old DF feels.

It's purely temporary due to the soft wipe. They neither added nor changed a thing to address the games problemsChrispyz wrote:Ugh , I caved and reinstalled, just finished organizing my bank and checking out the new wizard changes. Well, let's wait for that word doc that was promised and we'll see from there.
Chris, let us know your thoughts also.
Owyn, you need to add that shit back to your sig - ASAP. Who gave you permission to remove it?

Either way it'll be hard for me to escape the pull of the Carebear PVE'ness of Destiny next week anyways. Long live the King!
Re: Owyn Magnus
Bart, that sig is cool! I don't remember ever being given the option.
Wild, I don't remember if I had it on here, but I def have it on the Darkfall forums still.
Chryspyz, no matter what DFO is at minimum a month or two away.

Re: Owyn Magnus
So I guess the big winners are the people who liquidated all their gear before this wipe thing?
Logged in and I am at a chaos stone on Niff wearing "Aged" gear.
Somehow I doubt a soft bank wipe will fix the problem of people not finding holdings valuable enough, and IG activities rewarding enough.

They actually made holdings worth quite alot recently, and redid a bunch of the loot tables on the larger stuff. Too little too late though im afraid.

Damn you people, now I'm curious. Not optimistic, just morbidly curious...for nostalgic reasons.

Re: Owyn Magnus
Had a queue to get on for a Siege on Saturday evening. First time I have had a queue in that game in like 2 years. Lots of mages running around, but also lots of 2h beastmode shredding wizards~
They made blizzard exactly like the old DFO bliz. You cant see through it, and the AOE is massive. Eyerot / Impale are in as well, which are great utility.
What else... uhhhh. Oh - Evade and Begone are both common skills now. Movement got changed / fixed depending on what you like. Though - it seems like everyone likes something different, and TBH i cant even remember what DFO movement felt like.

I guess I could try to play a bit in between dual boxing EVE spreadsheets.

Re: Owyn Magnus
they changed alot yah, and they keep on fixing stuff weekly now, every few days they have a fix for something.
owning a city has value again, aoi has value, houses got more bindspots, new gear, mobdrops changed, you can have more skills now in your build, ...
is it worth coming back? if you missed df and couldn't find a replacement for it yet, yes
if you hate adventurine with a passion, all those changes won't change your mind :p
