Schmaylor comes to us by way of Aesir. An Officer contacted me last night asking if we were recruiting and had been playing w/ Schmaylor for a short while. He needs some help and a home and Aesir isn't recruiting.
I ask he post an app and after I fell asleep at my keyboard (OOPS!), I saw no app and went to bed. Apparently, I just missed it.
Anyways, as for the notepad, I had a message before I logged from the Aesir gent that he was having problems seeing his font while he was typing, so he was going to do a notepad and post that.
Mission Accomplished.
Schmaylor. If that happens again, there is a button on the bottom right of the tool window that looks like a white paper. If you mouse over it, it's called 'Switch Editor Mode'. For some reason, it sometimes defaults as on. It should be off. This will make your text visible. Sorry for the confusion!

Unfortunately, it defaults as on if you are new to the website, and / or don't have permissions. Once you turn it off (physically) and / or register correctly, it should default as off.
I'm not sure there's much we can do about it, unless we add a caveat in the application post at this point.
